Description:
MCG Construction are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in West London to assist the Lead Surveyor on a maintenance contract. The suitable candidate will be degree qualified and have social housing experience.
Duties will include but arelimited to the below:
* Ensure all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms.
* A tracker is in placeto monitor all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate.
* To price alljobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly.
* To produce and agree a monthly application.
* Monitor all costs and assist in the managing of these costs to ensure profitability is maintained.
Requirements:
*Degree qualified.
* Social Housing Experience
* Experience Surveying, Pricing and Validating Subcontractor Quotations
* Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications.
* Experience working with typical Pricing agreements & Frameworks within a TPC Contract, which includes mandatory knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates and Basket Rates
* Negotiation Skills
