Where will I be working?
This role is home based, however you will be required to attend customer sites and meetings at our Veolia Water Technologies offices.
What will I be doing?
As Digital Services Technician you will work with theDigital Services Team to seamlessly monitor customers' connected assets. Overseeing and providing first-line support for monitored alarm conditions.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Using technology (such as Augmented Reality) to help solve customer issues remotely, both in communication with the field service team and / or directly with the customerProviding technical support to the engineers during commissioning
Activating the equipment on the Web portal and link to thecustomer site
Ensuring correct data transmission and operation
Providing technical assistance to enable the client to setupand maintain connectivity
Monitoring the systems on Hubgrade to ensure signal strength and data transmission, as well as taking appropriate actions to deal with alarms and system performance issues
Ensuring that all alarm conditions have been properlylogged and actioned / escalated as appropriate
Responding to system breakdowns and ensuring engineer visits and parts are arranged with our Scheduling team to achieve an efficient response
Initiating site visits via scheduling to address any performance issues with the customers connected assets
Putting together trending reports as required and checking that these are beinggenerated and passed to the customer
Ensuring automatically generated reports are correct and meet the customer requirementsCarrying out system operational reviews and highlighting any issues found to the Digital Services Team.
RequirementsA Technical qualification in a relevant field would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
Previous client facing experience
To be able to work as part of a team
Able to work on own initiative
Able to complete administrative tasks and produce reports
Knowledge and experience of the company products, applications markets and a service record
