We are recruiting for a leading WaterTreatment Company looking to add a Effluent Treatment Specialist to their team!
Job Title - Effluent Treatment SpecialistArea/Location - Manchester

Job Description
* Job requires a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systemsto be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which thejob is based.
* The knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. The skills and knowledge level can be equivalent to a specialised level within a skilled trade, but are generally non-theoretical skills.
* To assist theHydrex team with the following activities and drive the process to ensure new account conversion:
* Initial jar testing
* Hydrex product selection
* Running chemical trials on site
* Calculation of chemical usage* Production of reports for both internal and external use
* Communication with customers and the Hydrex team
* Following account conversion, to support customers via the following activities:
* Routine site visits
* Routine account management activities - reporting, communication and other activities
* Troubleshooting of any issues with the chemical program
Requirements
Education - Essential
* A technical science degree
* Extensive technical knowledgewith proven experience and skills
* in effluent treatment; specifically jar testing and plant chemical trials.
* Excellentproblem solving and communication skills with the ability to express information in a clear and concise manner.
* The abilityto prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
* A customer service mindset asthe role requires strong customer focus during sales activities.
* Be flexible in order to organise and plan resources to meet customer expectations.
* Be able to work as part of a strong cohesive team with the ability to interact with internal colleagues in both Veolia Water Technologies and Veolia Environment, to ensure a strong collaborative approach to prospect opportunities.
* Experience of working in a large corporate environment would be desirable.
