You will be responsible for all electrical and data installations for work completed at our customers sites around the UK so you must have prior experience of the following to be considered:
* Managing electrical compliance and ensure that all works comply with all legal, corporate and contractual requirements.
* Ensuring a high quality standard of work in accordance with the current Edition ofWiring Regulations.
* Auditing works and provide technical support to electricians.
* Ensuring compliance is maintained atall times.
* Gain and retain accreditation as Qualified Supervisor with approved body (NICEIC)
* Check and sign / authoriseall NICEIC certification.
* Ensure that all works are fully compliant with current regulations.
* Register/log all notifiable works with the NICEIC and/or building control.
* Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies.
* Ensure competence of all electricians.
* Have full knowledge of each contracts electrical specification.
* Carry out work in progressand post inspection audits of all site work.
* Monitor and maintain each contracts PAT testing.
* Monitor and maintain the calibration of in-house electrical test equipment.
* Liaise with the client on any future works outside of the "normal" contract specifications, and offer technical support where required.
* Ensure that relevant Task Specific Risk Assessments are available for tasks such as Work at Height, Electrical, Asbestos, COSHH and Manual Handling.
Qualifications / Experience:* Must have worked in the same / similar role over the last 2 years.
* 18th Edition
* Proven knowledge of installing datanetworks including CAT5e, CAT6 and Fibre.
* Relevant recognised electrical qualification as required by NICEIC for ElectricalQualified Supervisor e.g. City & Guilds 2382-10
* Knowledge of a multi-client contracted environment and compliance background
* Previous experience of effectively leading and managing a team is essential
* Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills
* Must hold full driving licence.
* Proof of right to work in the UK
Package:
* Salary from £35,000 to £40,000
* 40 hour week (Monday to Friday
* Paid door to door as full UK travel will be required as will occasional overnight stays with time back in lieu
* 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
