M&E BUILDING SERVICES ESTIMATOR
HAYWARDS HEATH, WEST SUSSEX
THE ROLE:
Due to growth of the business I am currently representing my client based in Haywards Heath, who are looking for a M&E Building Services Estimator to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
The company are an established Facilities Maintenance Company and maintain client sites around the UK.
You willbe working across all mechanical, electrical and subcontracted disciplines, including: HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical & Gas.
This position would be suited to someone who has at least 5 years' experience in M&E Building Services Estimating, frommechanical and electrical system installation to full maintenance and PPM packages.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To survey prospective planned maintenance contract sites and mechanical/electrical small works and project quotations from maintained and non-maintained sites.
* Work alongside sales and operations on new business accounts and existing customer sites.
* Estimate pricing for new planned maintenance contracts to ensure a profitable outcome.
* Negotiate with existing and new suppliers for procurement of materials and equipment and subcontractors where required.
* Reporting and updating of in-house company bespoke software (full systems training will be provided)
THE PERSON:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in M&E building services estimating
* Good written and spoken communication skills
* Proactive, learn quickly and be a strong negotiator
* Organisedwith strong IT skills
* Self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic
* Ability to support on the technical side of tender bidsABOUT THE BENEFITS:
