Do you like to rock it out on a daily basis? Would you be the rock in someone's life? Do you feel like you are currently stuck between a rock and a hard place in life? Well I am looking for that rock specialist a geologist to be exact for a full time permanent role in Meath. This role will work with an exploration team to source new deposits across the country. They will be working with an established team of geologists, mineral surveyors and environmentalstaff members.
The role will involve:
* Conduct field surveys
* Prepare analysis of samples
* Prepare sites with geology team
* Identify and source new sites
* Source bulk construction materials
* Process results
* Conduct topological surveys using GPS, UAV, drone, GIS and lidar as required
* Extract geological core samples
* Prepare reports based on findingsThe ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
* Degree qualified in Geology, Geography, Earth Science or a related field
* 3 years plus experience within geology
* Professional membership of Institute of Geologists of Ireland an addedbonus
* Ideally has worked on mixed matter assignments in the past
* Familiar with Irish landscape such as esker depositsThe benefits for this role will include:
