MCG Construction are currently recruiting for a Lead Ganger to work for a leading Utilities contractor on the developer services work-stream covering the Thames Valley Region.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a thriving business that are looking to expand.
Do you have experience on mains laying or service laying?
You will be part of a two man team Lead Ganger and a Labourer working on either the public highway or offsite on developer driven construction sites. Work requirements change dependant on the scheme being undertaken with some work requiring excavation and installation and some developer sites being lay only activity into a pre-excavated trench.
The teams are supervised daily but will not be under continuous supervision throughout the day so must be trusted and competent to enough to ensure the tasks set out each day are achieved, and high levels of safety and compliance are always maintained.
You will hold the following tickets:
* Blue Card
*Streetworks
* First Aid
* Manual Handling
* Abrasive Wheel
* Cat +Genny
