M&E Project Manager:
A fantastic permanent job-opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Project Manager, to join a respected & highly desirable employer.
The employer is an award-winning UK-based main-contractor, with a very strong reputation in the construction industry. They are looking for an experienced candidate to work on a flagship major project in South London.
The Project:
Major residential development in South London, total value circa £380m, with a programme of 7 years.
The Role:
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for management of the M&E Installation throughout the large-scale residential development. To be considered for the role you will need to be detailed and technical minded to be innovative in tender engagement and design. The contractor will only consider candidates for the role who have a proven ability to deliver on major scope of works, working with major building contractor or developer.
Responsibilities:
* Management of sub-contractors and assistancein the placement of sub-contract and material orders.
* Technical expertise in the placement of sub-contracts and material orders relating to mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Obtain accurate prices and quotations for all aspects of a tender relating to the MEICA element including subcontracts, materials and labour.
* Technically and commercially assess quotations.
* Produce an accurate estimate for MEICA related work for a Tender.
* Planning and programming.
* Preparation of project programme for mechanical and electrical aspects of work and to advise personnel of progress and forecast.
* Quality Assurance - To maintain quality assurance records in accordance with the Company procedures.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of bothMechanical and Electrical installation
* Prior experience working on large scale residential projects
* Detail focused
