MCG Construction are recruiting for a permanent M&E / MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our clients forward thinking, rapidly expanding and dynamic business.
This can a remote position with occasional visits to site and their office in Wakefield,West Yorkshire if desired.
Our client has experienced a phenomenal amount of growth during 2020 with an ambitious growth strategy for 2021, thus they are looking to expand their team within their Mechanical & Electrical fit-out division. If successfully hired, you would be working along side one other Quantity Surveyor and reporting directly to the divisional leads providing ample clear opportunities for career progression as the business and division grows.
They have a low staff turnover with an innovative, ambitious and sociableculture making for a positive working environment. Team work is at the forefront of their successes so someone who is a strong team player with a positive can do attitude is imperative. They boast fantastic staff attrition rates and are hiring purely due to growth.
Strong and demonstrated knowledge of the commercial M&E sector sector will be a necessary advantage. Previous experience working within the retail sector would be hugely beneficial.
You will be working on various retail fit-out projects raging from 10k to circa £3m value. Previous experience overseeing similar sized projects is desired.
Experience working with a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor would be preferable.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate capabilities of managing costings and billings within a building services / M&E / MEP environment.

Ideally you will be degree educated although this isn't essential.The salary & package is negotiable based on previous experience.
