Description:
Our client, based just North of Cork city, requires a Maintenance manager for their food production facility. This is a days only, Monday - Friday maintenance manager job. You will be joining a growing business which is involved in the community, environmentally conscious and where promotional prospects are real. This maintenance manager job has come about due to the current maintenance manager being promoted into a site engineering manager job.
As Site Maintenance Manager you will havethe freedom to develop and manage your own team, to suit the business needs, whilst leading our Engineering strategy along withthe Production and Site Leadership team. This position will allow you the opportunity to keep up to speed with OEM developmentsand advances in automation and best practices in FMCG processing.
Your duties will include:
* Implementation of the Maintenance System to best practice standard, including 24/7 cover management
* Leadership and development of Maintenance team in conjunction with Site Manager and Engineering Manager.
* Responsible for the training for all maintenance personnel.
* Overall day to day management of maintenance department function including PPM of all equipment
* Overall leadership and developmentof Maintenance team in conjunction with Site Manager and Engineering Manager.

* Implementation of Kepak Maintenance guiding principle which is that "equipmentis always maintained to
* Liaise with Ops team to ensure factory lay out and maintenance practices meets 5S standards to protect machinery from damage.
* Use the total resources of the Site team to deliver a combined improvement in results.
* Implement Continuous Improvement process in Maintenance function.
* Responsible for the overseeing of all records required by HSE, BRC and all statutory and legal obligations
* Managing Maintenance budget spend on labour and materials.
