Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependanton experience) Company Van & Fuel Card 40 hours per week.

Description:
Our client looking to recruit a building fabric maintenance engineer.
Performing a variety of tasks, undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive activity to a wide range of Building Services equipment including but not limited to, fabric repairs, doors adjustments, painting and decorating, plastering and joinery, installing signage. Bricklaying, Tiling, generallabouring / cleaning duties.

Responsibilities and Duties to include:
* Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance, statutorycompliance tasks and reactive works nvestigations/repairs on, but not limited to, building fabric.
* Carry out routine (butnot limited to) building fabric repairs, including painting and carpets, furniture, and fittings.
* To diagnose faults on equipment and repair as necessary using manufacturers manuals and drawings as required.
* To clearly identify and record concise details of test results and actions taken when rectifying breakdowns/remedial works and further actions to eliminate or minimisefuture problems. Ensuring that these records are always kept accurate and up to date.
* Undertake surveys of engineering/building fabric as directed.
* Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve.
* Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
* Assisting & supporting our helpdeskmanager with actioning jobs as and when they come in.
Candidates will be mobile engineers operating mainly in Greater Manchester and to the wider areas of the Northwest on a re-active basis.

The ideal candidates will possess previous experience within the building fabric sector with experience of undertaking maintenance and re-active activities. You will demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills, not scared of getting stuck in and sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone to get the jobdone as the reactive nature of our business calls upon us to support clients in need, so team players who are willing to go theextra mile to get the works completed sit well with us.
Qualifications and Skills:
* CSCS card as a minimum
* Pasma card
* First aid
* Asbestos awareness
* Clean driving License
* Other.
