A leading utilities provider is looking to recruit a quantity surveyor. This will suit candidates with energy, civils or a design and build background. They will be a specialist in the upkeep offinancial records both with internal and external parties. This role will report to the management team and have administrationsupport. It is ideally suited to candidates with at least 7 years experience and located in the south east.
This role will include;
* Commercial Management of projects
* Keeping an up to date record of all spends by both internal and external teams* Providing a detailed plan of all adjustments for both management and the client
* Making savings or spends as required* Communication of all alterations with all parties involved
* Assisting the bid management team in providing a precise estimate for all tenders
* Representation of the firm at client meetings
* Justification of all costs made and provide long term solutions to current and future projects
* Competent in decision making for the strategic development of the firm
The idealcandidate will have:
* Degree qualification in a relevant field such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering
* 7 years experience preferably
* Experience within civil, utilities, plant or design andbuild sectors
* Excellent cost management skills
* Superb IT skills
* Very presentable
* Key communicator
* Happy towork as part of a team
* Located in the south east of Ireland or looking to relocate
