QS - Immediate Start- Essex
MCG Construction are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor in Essex to join the commercial team on external social housing contracts. The suitable candidate will be degree qualified and have social housing experience.
Duties will includebut are not limited to the below:
Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms
Ensuring sub-contractor payments are made on time
Overseeing the commercial team
Assisting the commercial team
Monitoring all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate
Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly
To produce and agree a monthly application
Monitoring and managingcosts to ensure profitability is maintained.
Requirements:
Degree qualified
Social Housing Experience
Experience Surveying, Pricing and Validating Subcontractor Quotations
Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications
Negotiation Skills
Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle
