Cruising down the highway or stuck on the M50. Behind a tractor on a country road or waiting for the lollypop lady to let you pass. They are all instances of where roads integrate with our daily lives. They form a network of arteries across Irelandconnecting networks near and far. Over the next few days they will be the vital components of our infrastructure network bringing people together for the holidays. I am assisting a Kilkenny based client to recruit a Senior Civil Design Engineer for a Kilkenny based role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transportation or Civil Engineer to work in Kilkenny on projects across Ireland.
The role is best suited to candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
* Located in Kilkenny or looking to relocate ASAP
* 7 years plus experience within Civil Engineering Design inparticular Transportation
* Familiar with road network design in Ireland/EU
* Has worked to Irish local authorities and EUstandards in the past
* Able to lead a team on transportation projects
* Client facing experience with county councils and national bodies such as TII
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent report writing skills
* Fluent English
* Full Driving licence
