Description:
MCG Construction are looking for Senior QS with an immediate start in Norwich.
MCG Construction are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Norwich to lead the commercial team on a maintenance contract.
The suitable candidate will be degree qualified and have social housing experience.
Workstreams to include R&M works, FRA works, Voids & External Improvements.
Duties will include but are not limited to the below.
* Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms.
* Ensuring sub-contractor payments are made on time.
* Overseeing the commercial team
* Completing client valuations
* Monitoring all applications submitted and ensure any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate.
* Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly.
* To produce and agree a monthly application.
* Monitoring and managing costs to ensure profitability is maintained.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified.* Social Housing
* Experience Surveying
* Pricing and Validating Subcontractor Quotations Experience Measuring Works
* Generating and Agreeing applications
* Negotiation Skills
