Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary - £70k plus Car Allowance and Bonus

Panoramic Associates are currently supporting one of the most exciting Housing Associations in the UK. Due to continued growth, we require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to jointheir Oxford office, leading on a number of immediate projects as well as some very exciting future schemes.
with a mixtureof schemes across student accommodation, private rent and key worker projects - they will be plenty to keep you busy
Thepurpose of this role is to be responsible for supporting the implementation of the commercial strategies / plans for the development schemes in the Oxford / Bristol regions by working with the Land, Technical, Construction and Internal client teams as instructed by the Head of Commercial
Day to day your duties will include:
* Assisting the Head of Commercial in achieving targets and managing performance for the successful delivery of all tenures focusing on achieving and improving on budgeted project costs
* To deliver value for money in respect of construction costs and consultant fees
* To work as an integralpart of the Development team and provide commercial knowledge and skills on all development projects.
* provide cost and contract management for Joint Venture or Collaboration projects with developers or landowners from inception through to completion of works onsite
As the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will put budgets and forecasts together in line with department and company requirements, reporting progress against such plans and budgets and implement agreed actions plans to ensureall targets are achieved.
What we are looking for?
For our client, a Senior Quantity Surveyor will have proven experience against the key responsibilities as detailed above. We need a candidate who has demonstrable experience in this role and working environment
You will also demonstrate the below
* Track record of managing issues on complex projects and implementing successful value for money strategies.
* Demonstrable/substantial experience in a surveying role working for a new build residential developer.
* Understanding of different construction methods
* Experience of dealing and negotiating with multiple contractors and consultants
* Good contractual knowledge for JCT Design and Build
