Senior Site Manager | New Build Industrial Development | April Start | Somerset
My client is a Main Contractor who specialise in the construction of retail parks, leisure complexes and industrial units across the UK, delivering projects ranging from £6 - £30m. Given their experience and their constant ability to deliver these projects, their client has awarded them another new build development in Somerset where they will be requiring an experienced Senior Site Manager who will be reporting into the Project Manager and Senior Contracts Manager.
This a new build £20m+ industrial project in a logistically challenging location and as such, you MUST have experience working on this type of project. You will have the support of the existing Senior Contracts Manager, the Project Manager the surveyors and the engineering team and will have an two site managers and an assistant site manager reporting into you. This is perfect for someone that can work hand in hand with the client and the project manager and deliver and motivate on site to get the project delivered on time and in budget.
Requirements:
* Candidate will be CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certified
* Must have experience as a Senior Site Manager on large scale new build warehouse / industrial unit
* Experience working for main contractors is preferable
* Strong management, organisational and communication skills are a must
* Must live within easy daily commutable distance within Somerset
