A great opportunity has arisen foran experienced Setting Out Site Engineer. My client, a main contractor with a fantastic reputation with a £100 million turnover;are looking to appoint a Site Engineer to work on new build steel frame warehouse and distribution centres.
Duties
As Site Engineer, you will report to a Project Manager and senior engineer, and will be responsible for;
* Setting Out
* Maintaining line & level control
* Measurements & Calculations
* Interpretation of technical drawings
* Producing as-built and topographical surveys
* Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
* Coordinating the technicalaspects of package handovers
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.
Specifically, you should have experience working on largesteel framed Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.
