Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Salary: Up to £70,000 (Depending on skill level)
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead on implementing the Supply Chain Strategy for the Southern area of our business, as well as managing key members of the internal & external supply chain, ensuring that theprocesses are managed effectively to maximise profit, value, and opportunity.

Key Accountabilities also include:
* Make decisions based on findings, business to business plans and market understanding
* Select suppliers using a structured business-based comparison (commercial/ operations) to generate a shortlist and recommendations
* Maximise value by considering alternative options - product/ programme/ business opportunities
* Understand supplier product and performance against the company's strategic CSR
* Gain a detailedunderstanding of offering from the sub-contractor against the company's strategic targets including mutual business benefits* Report on performance and strategic information and metrics to Business leaders
* Represent the business unit and carry out activities to support our position and meet any commitments we have made on key frameworks
* Manage the Supply Chain Strategy at business unit or regional level identifying, developing, and implementing new relationships where required to support the range of project values, complexity, sectors, and geographical range the region is focused on both currently and importantly, future.
* Develop and implement tender, project, and sector specific, procurement and supply chain strategies as required
* Manage the financial opportunity tracker to maximise compliance where appropriate
* Deliver procurement briefing briefings to alllive projects and support the projects in developing appropriate strategies, collecting, and reporting on benefits identified and realised. This includes maximising the benefits of cross project procurement both within and across regions in the business* Champion best practice approach in relation to SCM e.g. development of Supply Chain Mapping/Value Stream Mapping and re-engineering/re-structuring of Supply Chain's
* Work with the supply chain and our reporting systems to undertake regular spend reviews
* Identify areas of leakage and work to ensure maximum compliance with preferred subcontractors
We are looking for you to have worked in similar roles and have a very strong background in MEP Procurement and Supply Chain Management, which has given you a solid understanding of this market, a breadth of knowledge of the Supply Chain across London and the South East, as well as experience of working with contract, specification management, Risk analysis and mitigation processes
To be successfulin the role you will commercially focused and be confident in taking the lead whilst demonstrating a flexible partnership approach, working collaboratively with key areas of the business to ensure success.
