Role Overview:
As an Associate Data Science Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes, leading a team of talented data scientists, and ensuring the successful delivery of analytical projects for our esteemed healthcare services client. Your expertise in data science, coupled with your strong management skills,will enable you to thrive in this challenging yet rewarding position.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of datascientists, providing guidance and support to enhance their technical and professional development.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the healthcare services organisation to understand their data needs and deliver insightful analytics solutions.
* Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced data models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from complex healthcare data sets.
* Utilise predictive modelling and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimisation and improved patient care.
* Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring dataquality, integrity, and accessibility for the team.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and healthcare technology, recommending relevant tools and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
* Communicate findings anddata-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing strategic decisions.
Requirements:* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in data science and analysis within the healthcare industry, showcasing expertise in statistical analysis, data modelling, and machinelearning.
* Previous experience in a management or leadership role, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of data professionals.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, and experience with data manipulation andvisualisation libraries.
* Strong understanding of healthcare data sources, privacy regulations, and industry-specific challenges.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Problem-solving mindset, with a passion for exploring innovative solutions through data.
* Go-to person on the team in general machine learning and NLP.
