A BRAND-NEW opportunity with one of the leading Managed Service providers is now looking for a Head of Bid Management to join their growing team with a leading and growing ICT and Services business.Head of Bid Management is responsible for leading bids through the complete bid cycle, as well as writing content for PQQ /RFI / RFP / ITT / Frameworks and contributing to, and improving, the existing knowledge base. They are expected to lead the individual opportunity teams in delivering compelling proposals and RFPs, which sets it apart from the competition.
Responsibilities of the Head of Bid Management
* Own the end-to-end bid approach starting from early engagement through to submittal tocontract award. Coaching colleagues in day-to-day activities, programmes, and initiatives, ensuring we deliver compelling submissions.
* Coach the bid teams on opportunity qualification and continue to reaffirm qualification throughout the bid process.* Identify and report on the risk profile of bids, ensuring mitigations are in place where appropriate.
* Ensure bids followour governance approach and are signed off at the appropriate levels, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and management.
* Facilitate bid kick-off meetings with relevant subject matter experts to include presentation, strategy, competitor analysis, solution approach and roles/responsibilities to achieve the win.
* Lead lessons-learned sessions following bids and usethese lessons to continuously improve the approach to bids, frameworks, and presentations. Provide the feedback into the business where relevant.
* Draft content and reusable documentation for PQQ / RFI / RFP / ITT / Frameworks and improving, the existing knowledge base and drive improved productivity.
* Ensure the bid knowledge management system is well governed and remains upto date.
Head of Bid Management Requirement
* A proven track record of managing successful IT Managed Serviceand single product bids within Private and Public Sector.
* 5+ years' experience in UK bid management at least 2 years in ITmanagement
* Demonstrable experience of bid processes and implementing Shipley bidding best practices.
* Advanced working knowledge of MS Office applications and Salesforce
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
* Strong understanding of Communications/UC industry

A basic salary of £50k - 60k plus Bonus (up to £70K package)
