Business Analyst Team Lead - Birmingham or Remote Working - Salary £45,000 - £55,000 Plus Benefits

This highly successful Software corporate near Birmingham is seekinga Business Analyst Team Lead with experience of Insurance Software solutions, to lead a small team of Business Analysts and Trainers tasked with delivering the company's software products to Brokers and Financial Advisers.

From working with customers tounderstand their business goals, objectives, processes and pain points, the Business Analyst Team Lead will ensure the requirements & solutions are well defined and easily understood by the internal Developers & Release specialists, ensuring customers ultimately receive the most effective solutions.

The Role:

* Leadership and management of a development and releaseteam
* People management including setting of objectives, performing 1-2-1's, annual reviews, coaching and mentoring
* Ensuring adherence to prescribed processes, procedures and standards
* Ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken for the completion of requirements gathering, analysis, specification production, training material, etc. within the agreed timelines
* Providing regular reporting of progress, hurdles and risks
* Working with the team to ensure they are providing realistic businesssolutions and estimates
* Engaging with clients and maintaining client relationships which will require the occasional onsitevisit.
* Creating positive relationships with customers to ensure profitable growth through chargeable work
* Engaging hands-on to support development, test and implementation activities across the teams to overcome blockages in capability or capacity* Analysing business processes and identifying complex business problems, performing impact assessments, conducting feasibility and cost/benefit analysis to recommend solutions
* Scheduling and reviewing of own work and leading reviews of colleagues work
* Participating in continuous-improvement initiatives (such as PIR's, process-reviews etc)
* Gathering information and translating the identified requirements into well-formed documents
* Evaluating, collating and documenting use-cases into unambiguous user-stories

Skills & Experience

* Solid experience as a Business Analyst with strong understanding of Insurance Software solutions.
* Previous team leading experience is useful but not essential.
* Demonstrable experience of working in a consultative capacity across the presales/delivery phases of software development.
* Knowledge of Insurer, Intermediary orFinancial Advice processes, standards and practices
* The ability to work methodically through complex branched logic trees from an issue resolution perspective.
* Demonstrable success working in both vertical and matrix reporting structures.
* Proven aptitude in the analysis of complex business requirements and systems-thinking.
* Working in customer-facing consulting capacity.
* Experience working through the development lifecycle
* Demonstrable ability to work to strict deadlines, both individually and as part of the team.
* Broad understanding of ESB and SOA use-cases.
* Experience of PCI:DSS and/or DPA/GDPR isbeneficial.
* Graduate degree, or equivalent work experience in a relevant role.
