A BRAND NEW opportunity for a Microsoft Azure focused Cloud Engineer has now become available foran Integrated Managed Service Provider / MSP, who have a clear passion for the Cloud environment, at their office in Central London.
Reporting into the Technical Director of the Cloud discipline, you as the Azure Cloud Engineer will have the opportunityto grow the position, and own the position. Providing support and BAU support across the operational team, you will support with and provide your technical influence around:
* Best practice guidelines on various product suites and Solutions designed around Microsoft Azure
* Creating and maintaining relevant documentation for customer solutions
* Implementing BAU and changes to various Solutions for customers where required
* Supporting the delivery team for implementation tasks
* Being the first point of contact for support - supporting 1st and 2nd line
* Managing escalations and SLA's - educating customers around thebest Azure based products and solutions available
We are looking for the ideal Azure Cloud Engineer to be Microsoft Azure disciplined, with strong knowledge around this Cloud platform and technologies. In addition to this, we are looking for:
* Hands on experience with BAU - support ticketing systems
* Competency with Microsoft Azure - AZ-103 Certification desirable but not essential
* Experience with technologies including (but not limited to): Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, VPN Gateways, Azure Backup, App Service, Traffic Manager, Lighthouse, Sentinel)
* PowerShell / Scripting exposure / ability is strongly desired
*Strong understanding of Office 365 / O365 solutions
* Microsoft Azure Active Directory
* Strong understanding of Networking, IP Addressing, firewalling and public DNS principles
As the Azure Cloud Engineer, any additional experience to Virtualisation Technologies, Hyper-V or VMware would also be desirable.
