Role:
This is a multi-disciplinary technical architectural role, responsible for providing digital infrastructure design and technical guidance, and creating the digital infrastructure conduit between Client, consumer, solution contributors, and other stakeholders within solutiondelivery. You will have the ability to develop comprehensive technical and service-based blueprints for both new and existing clients, working to design solutions based on core portfolio capabilities and be responsible for presentation, justification anditeration of design via internal technical boards.
Technical Requirements
The following technical competencies are desirable but not essential:
* Proven industry and commercial experience as an Enterprise or Solutions Architect.
* Experience of providing Client focused service.
* Use Case and solution: Public/Private Cloud, LAN/WAN Networking and availability technologies and solutions.
* Experience of running 'business use case', technology orientated workshops.
* Demonstrable experience in designing complex, highly available, secure, 'fit for purpose' multi-disciplinary solutions to client documented requirements.
* Strong technical and commercial acumen, understanding and ability to translate modern business challenges.
* Detailedunderstanding and experience of enterprise network technologies and their use cases.
* Colocation: Understand the commercialand technical building blocks and considerations in creating client colocation solutions.
* Connectivity: Networking: Cisco,Juniper, FortiGate: Managed Service Provider Networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), Firewalls,
* Cloud: Virtualisation, VMware, MS HyperV, Microsoft, Open-Source OS/Database, (WinTel, MS-SQL (HA), RHeL, ALMA, MariaDB (HA))
* Containerisation, Kubernetes, Application optimisation.
* Public Cloud: Azure, Microsoft 365 and AWS
