A multi-disciplinary engineering services provider specialising in Built Environment,
Production Process and Digitalisation.
With 16 locations across the UK, 1000+ employees, 60+ Blue Chip customers and a
turnover approaching GBP 200m this is a very well funded business with a clear aspiration
for substantial business growth over the next five years.
The business has recently made thedecision to implement a single, Group wide ERP
system which will drive efficiency across all of its operating areas and provide a platform
for the future.
The Role
The role is to lead the 18 month deployment of the IFS ERP Enterprise Asset Management
system; this to include new CRM and HR systems.
The new system will become the single strategic platform for all aspects of job safety, job
resourcing, job management, asset management, business development and people
management across allof this business' operating areas.
The successful applicant will be required to lead a team of around 40 people, create, ownand deliver the project plan and engage effectively with the project Steering Committee,
which is effectively the Group executive leadership team.
Whilst there is potential for a hybrid working regime, the successful applicant must be
prepared to spend time on operational sites around the UK, and in particular at the Group's
headquarters in Glasgow.
Responsibilities
* Leading a project team of around 40, which includes business subject matter experts
and representatives from the software vendor and systems integrator
* Being the primary contact for the project's Steering Committee and Executive Sponsor
*Creating, achieving executive buy-in to and owning the full project plan
* Delivering against it, balancing scope, risk, budget and quality
* Creating and owning the business change plan, and ensuring that the substantial
change that this project represents is fully understood and delivered
* Managing the software vendor and systems integrator
* Responsibility for the entire project budget
