Lead IoT Developer / IoT Edge Developer - 100% remote (MUST be UK based) - £60k-£80k
In this exciting role as Lead IoT Edge Developer, we are looking for a dynamic and skilled engineer to play a key role on new product delivery
You willbe responsible for designing and developing IoT Edge Applications and workloads for strategic IoT products and solutions. The environments are multi-OS, Docker and Kubernetes containerised, IoT Edge and Cloud (Azure). The product solutions involve telemetry, video, audio, image, and text processing, often via Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in an enterprise environment
This role is remote working with monthly visits to one of their multiple offices and some client site visits when required.Your role will involve:
* Designing and leading the development to deliver solutions for clients
* Implementing integrations into IoT and ML stacks with Microsoft Azure
* Developing and implementing new product features and service to enhance existing ones.
* Developing interfaces that interact with different edge/backend services and front-ends
* Work closely withthe architects to define cutting edge, cloud based software architectures
* Mentor and support junior developers in the team* Work closely with clients and stakeholders on the quality and delivery of solutions.
We need you to have:
* Strong C#,.Net core experience
* Good experience with Azure SQL
* Experience in IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure IoTEdge / Custom IoT gateway
* Experience using Azure VMs, App Service plan, Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes service
* Good understanding of the full software life-cycle
* Strong communication skills and able to engage at stakeholder level
