THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting for an IT Service Desk Technician to join our client who have seen significant growth over the past year. The position is ideally suited tocandidates who would enjoy working on a busy service desk. The successful candidate will form part of the centralised company helpdesk team.
Within this position you will be providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users both remotely and faceto face. A genuine and keen interest in IT is essential. This role is a significant opportunity for an IT apprentice looking fortheir next step, or someone with fundamental IT skills looking to strengthen them.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creating andresolving tickets on the helpdesk system
* Investigating technical issues with PC's, laptops and peripheral devices
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
* Setting up accounts for new users
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* ActiveDirectory
* Basic experience in IP networking and routing
* Windows Sever
* Windows Operating Systems
* Office 365
*Any relevant IT qualifications (desirable)
