IT SUPPORT ENGINEER
DEWSBURY / HYBRID WORKINGUP TO £35,000 + STUDY SUPPORT + GREAT BENEFITS
THE COMPANY:
We're exclusively recruiting on behalf of a market leading multi-site business that is looking to expand their team due to the expansion and the addition of several IT Automation projects operating in the business.
As an IT Support Engineer, you'll undertake a dual position which will include a mix of Infrastructure Support and Infrastructure project works, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual to be involved in tech innovation projects to advance and modernise current IT processes within the business.

IT SUPPORT ENGINEER ROLE:
* Working within an established IT team supporting users, infrastructure and involved in project work toimprove infrastructure
* Handling 2nd Line end user software or hardware queries via email, phone, or face to face.
* Research, present and lead the team in infrastructure solutions
* Administering, supporting and troubleshooting IT systems and infrastructure solutions.
* Responsible for setting up Servers, Physical Server Migration, Virtual Server Migration, able to configure Active Directory (not just password resets) / Group Policy
* Maintaining Windows Server 2008-2019 Operating Systems and Hybrid Active Directory, GPO management, Hybrid Exchange, Internet Information Services, Hyper-V management
* Microsoft 365 Suite and Administration encompassing Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SharePoint
* Involved in IT Infrastructure modernisation and automation projects to improve departmental efficiency's and streamline operations
* Working with IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
* Support, administer and deliver IT solutions across the group working to ITIL standards.
* Liaise closely with business and 3rd party solution providers.
* Assist with Implementing, configuring, and testing feasible solutions.
THE PERSON:
Essential:
* Experience of IT Support experience working with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V, General Networking is essential
* Excellent IT Customer Service skills and the ability tocommunicate technical issues to non-technical people
* Full Driving Licence
Desirable
* Own Car (Pool Car available though if you haven't)
* Hybrid Exchange, O365, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy Microsoft Endpoint, SharePoint, O365, training will be provided if no experience.
