Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting for an IT Support Technician role for one of our clients that provide tech solutions to companies within the industrial sector. The position is ideally suited to candidates who would enjoy a varied IT role which will expose them to a wide range of different technologies with plenty of opportunity to be involved with key IT projects.
Within this role you will work alongside a team of dedicated IT professionals supporting internal users. You will act as the main point of contact for end user support dealing with hardware/software issues, whilst helping to plan and execute IT projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Troubleshoot, problem solve and fix and resolve IT issues efficiently and effectively
* Day-to-day support of customer sites
* Ensure that the asset database is maintained at all times
* Building physical and virtual IT infrastructure
* Support and maintain internal IT infrastructure
* Responsible for installing authorisedsoftware on desktops/laptops and Servers as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* Active Directory
* Windows Sever 2012 - 2019
* Windows Operating Systems
* Office 365
* VMWare/Hyper-V
* Solid understanding of Network Security
ADVANTAGEOUS:
* Understanding of SQL Server
* Basic knowledge of .NET framework
* Understanding of Cisco Networking
