Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting for JuniorIT Engineers commutable to Dartford, Greenhithe.
The purpose of the role is to support technical and non-technical functionsin order to successfully deliver deployment and configuration services.
We are seeking keen individuals with a willingness tolearn that would love to get hands on within a new industry. You will have a passion for IT with basic IT hardware experience also being advantageous. Other qualifying areas or experience that may be considered are ; relevant IT training courses or educational qualifications such as an A level or Degree in Computer Science or IT.
Role/ Package information:
* Monday - Friday* 9am - 5.30pm

* up to £24,000 per annum based upon IT experience

The Role:
* Workshop based work - carrying out configurations, builds, imaging and set up of IT hardware assets inclusive of but not limited to; laptops, tablets and smart phones
* Configure andprepare machines for hardware and software installation
* Use various imaging and provisioning methods to configure laptops, tablets and phones
* Completing daily asset deployment requests and processing the assigned assets to shipment
* Liaising with the team lead with technical queries
* Test parts and software where required
* Asset Tagging devices/ Asset Management reporting
* Complete basic fault finding and diagnostics ion recycled and refurbed hardware
* Ensure that all procedures and checks are followed
* Controlling the physical identification and processing of assets for disposal
* Working in an IT Hardware centre, alongside other technician's
* Other workshop duties will be required, i.e. moving hardware and loading / unloadingequipment and boxes ready for distribution and activity
The Candidate:
* Good knowledge of computer hardware
* Any previous IT industry work would be a great advantage
* IT A level/ Degree/ Training course/ Comptia A+ advantageous
* Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PC's advantageous but not essential
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
* Be able to pass/ clear an enhanced DBS (security clearance) check
