Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer
Job Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Gloucester (4 days a week on site)
Our client is looking for a Junior IT Support Engineerto help keep their business running smoothly by providing first-line support across their IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:* Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
 * Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows OS, Microsoft 365,and networking.
 * Manage hardware provisioning and maintain IT equipment.
 * Create and update user documentation.
 * Travelto various sites when required (pool vehicle provided).
 * Escalate issues to third-party providers when necessary.
 
Essential Skills:
 * Eager to learn and develop new IT skills.
 * Organised, motivated, and able to work independently.
 * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
 * Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
 * Patient and approachable when working with users of varying technical abilities.
 * Full UK driving licence.
 
Desirable Skills:
 * Experience with help desk applications.
 * Knowledge of M365 administration, Windows & Mobile OS troubleshooting.* Basic networking and cloud services knowledge.
 * IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
