Lead Data/Java Developer required by my client, a global leader in data technology, who are looking to bring in a Lead Developer on a Permanent basis. Actingas a Lead developer you will be responsible for the data platform team and developing the data engineering platform. This is anamazing opportunity to work for a market leader in the digital advertising space, working with ground-breaking technology to develop custom solutions to problems in a new industry.
Required experience:
* An excellent understanding of all things Java
* Working knowledge of Spark/Hadoop
* Excellent experience in SQL, Linux
* Basic knowledge of cloud-based services (Amazon Web Services a plus)
* Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
* Good communication skills
