The Role
SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit an experienced Manual Tester to join a leading global technology group.

What You Will Be Doing
*
Responsible for managing and executing end-to-endtesting for key technology platforms and be accountable for test projects.
*
Experience with QA automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Maven and TestNG is (preferable but not essential.)
*
Gather and present testing metrics and testingactivities for the projects to key stakeholders.
*
Closely work with various product teams to understand requirements andother performance SLAs.
*
Reviewing and analysing feature requirements exit criteria and design test scenarios.
*
Perform various types of testing, including but not limited to the following: Functional, Regression, integration, backend data validation, usability, end to end system testing, API testing, performance/stress testing and ensure bug-free applications go to production.
*
Writing manual and automation test cases using Test-Rail.
*
Identify, validate, communicate, and trackto closure defects and risks to the development team(s) and clearly communicate testing status and QA roadblocks to the QA manager and Product Managers. Interacts closely with members of cross-functional project team including Development, PMs, and ClientServices.
*
Reporting defects accurately and managing to successful resolution via Jira.
*
Participate in sprint planning, scrum, and backlog grooming ceremonies.
*
Researching and embrace new techniques and technology to improve testing*
Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like Files, XMLs, Databases.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
*
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in progressively responsible information technology.
*
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
*
Experience with RDBMS and SQL
*
Experience testing and debugging in multiple browsers/operating systems.
*
Experience with API testing using tools such as Post-Man, Soup UI
*
Familiar with ISTQB principles
*
Proven experience and full command of QA procedures and methods, and Agile/ SDLC
*
Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
*
Familiar with automation testing technologies is beneficial
*
Experience with version management and ticketing systems such as SVN and Jira.
