Do you have commercial networking experience and are at a CCNP level?
IO Associates are looking for a mid-level Network & Firewall Engineer to join a leading financial services oragnisation on a 6 month contract based in Cardiff.
Required skills/Experience:
* Cisco Networking Skills, CCNP (But CCNA will be suitable aslong as you have a minimum 6 years commercial networking experience).
* Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint - Experience and Knowledge an advantage.
* Load Balancing (F5) - an advantage.
* Hands on Cisco experience and a keen interest to develop and learn new technologies would be ideal. Any experience of alternate security platforms is an advantage, such as, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto and Checkpoint would be amazing.
The role will primarily involve supporting our day-to-day network tasks including managing incidents and change requests, administering Meraki WIFI infrastructure, maintaining, monitoring and action SolarWinds and alternative monitoring platform application and alerts, IP address schema management, patching management, network infrastructure documentation, process updating and streamlining, and physical datacentre work.
