* Provide incident management support to network infrastructure across the UK sites and international points of Including quality client communication through incident management process.
* Handle a wide variety of networkingtasks, such as daily checks of network monitoring, cabling requirements, provisioning of additional network capacity to meet demand
* Manage and maintain core, service and corporate network devices
* Vulnerability management - Execute patching and security/version updates on installed network kit
* Change management - follow current procedures to document the change or release for peer/CAB review followed by successful execution. Ensuring that where maintenance work is required, advance and formal notice are provided to clients in line with
* Follow predefined principles to ensure that consistency and standardisation of allnetwork projects is kept up to the highest
* Ensure process documents are regularly reviewed and kept up to date
* Review and ensure network asset information kept accurate in the CMDB
* Manage interaction with partners to support Network Infrastructure availability and capacity
* Generate innovative solutions in work situations; identifying different and creative ways to deal with work problems and
* Perform, with appropriate supervision, a range of scheduled network maintenance tasks and internal network support if
Requirements (Desirable)
Essential
* Minimum Degree level or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or similar discipline
* Minimum GCSE level, or equivalent, in
* Juniper Networks Associate certification e.g. JNCIA- Cloud, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIA- SEC, JNCIA- Dev Ops or equivalent of other vendor
* Understanding of Network Security
* ITil Foundation certificate
Desirable
* Network Security Qualifications (CISSP, CISM)
* Juniper Networks Specialist level certifications e.g. JNCIS-Cloud, JNCIS-SEC or JNCIS-SP
* Fortinet NSE Certification level 4+
