Are you a network engineer looking for a new challenge?
Looking to move away from the corporate world?
Creative personnel are looking for a passionate Network System Engineer to join our client in the Twickenham area. The role will involve the maintenance and support of any network related parts of the site.
What will you be doing?
* Work with the Engineering team on the day to day running and support of all network related aspects of the studio site.
* Provision and maintenance of network hardware, business servers, network streaming devices and storage systems relating to sound and picture facilities.
* Configuration and provision of network and internet services to staff and clients across both wired and wi-fi connections.
* Design and configure network reporting tools and present the relevant output as necessary.
* Administration of enterprise standardnetwork security devices and policy management
* Train colleagues in the Engineering team to support the main functions of thenetwork to achieve a balanced knowledge base among colleagues.
* Close liaison with facilities staff, mix technicians, and picture team to ensure effective communication flow between stakeholders.
What do you need to apply?
* A minimum of 5 years' experience within a network engineering field.
* Experience of network engineering protocols and convergence into post production through video streaming and network audio technologies such as Dante.
* Experience with virtualised machine environmentsand system imaging.
* Extensive experience of Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Solid knowledge of network wiring and termination standards
* Experienced in the creation of network infrastructure documentation.
* Proactive, can work independently but also collaboratively with the department team.
