IO Associates are helping a leading organisation recruit a Security Operations Manager. As part of the Operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the support of the IT security architecture and overall IT security, including PCI-DSS &Governance
Headlines:
Role: Security Operations Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Location: M4 Corridor
Must know LogRhythm and/or Qualys Vulnerability Management
Responsibilities:
·Manage BAU security monitoring. This includes sign-off periodic checks and monitoring tasks.
·Manage PCIDSS compliance and maintain ongoing review of staff, systems and processes againstPICDSS requirements.
·Manage regular vulnerability scans and follow up required actions.
·Monitor key internal processes andprojects for on-going compliance with PPS Information Security Policy and external standards
·Review security bulletins and vulnerability alerts and advise where further action is needed.
·Provide Security governance to IT projects, which will includereviewing security implication of all IT infrastructure changes
Essential Experience
* Knowledge/Experience of managing a Security Operations team or SOC.
* Working knowledge of:
LogRhythm Security Event Manager or similar systems,
Intrusion Detection Systems (e.g. SNORT, Checkpoint, OSSEC)
Checkpoint Firewalls.
Fortigate VPN gateways.
* Expertise with PCI DSS.
*Experience of working in security with at least one of Unix or Windows infrastructures.
