My client is looking to hire an experienced Product Manager into their team to help customers on their journey specifically with their VoiP / UCaas (Avaya, 8x8 or similar) and contact centre.
You will work within abusy IT services focused / managed services provider Product Management team and report into a Head of Product - Cloud Serviceswho will be setting the strategy for you and your peers to execute with customers. You will be expected to work closely with your customers offering the United Communications products alongside a "wrap around" Managed Services offering. To be clear this role is to deliver on the overall strategy set out by the Head of Product and it is their responsibility to build the strategy for the practice.
Experience of working with customer and supporting them and delivering their journey and product road map isessential and you will have worked for a similar type of organisation. An organisation that delivers new and cloud / security focused agile products into the mid and some enterprise market ideally. Clearly delivering into the UC space experience of workingwith product vendors such as; 8x8, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, Avaya and other contact center solutions is important. The role has direct ownership of the definition of the product road map / platform and services. You will be involved in defining the managed services focused product solution including pricing, service design, systems, tools and portals to define the client experience of consuming these services. It is likely that you will have experience of delivering products with a professional and /or managed services wrapper and helping clients to scale and grow with the benefit of flexible tailored products to ensure theirongoing security considerations of their UC platforms.
Previous experience of working closely with the relevant vendors and3rd party providers is essential for this role. You will liaise directly with the marketing and proposition team to ensure the message is on point and delivered accordingly. Identifying the key USP's and making sure this is clear is an important part of this delivery of product to clients.
Location - there will be some travel likely to see customers and work the rest of the teamand sales - but likely to be 2-3 times a month into the main office in London. This means you can be based fairly remote from the South-East but will need to be comfortable (when you are allowed) to be customer facing. Salary is c£65,000 - £80,000 + bonus(10-25%) + benefits including pension, health and 25 days holiday.
