* Appreciates the critical security considerations and posture necessary for software and infrastructure housing customer intellectual property (IP) in the cloud.* Boasts a diverse technology background, providing a comprehensive understanding from the ground up.
The Responsibilities:* Assist in the recruitment of the rest of the team and future team members.
* Act as an Agile facilitator within the team,ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient delivery.
* Forge strong partnerships with internal teams, fostering cohesive and harmonised solutions
* Promote an open and collaborative environment while maintaining focused execution.
* Collaboratewith engineering, product, and design leaders to shape team direction and strategy.
* Empower the team to achieve high levelsof productivity, performance, and reliability.
* Teach, mentor, coach, and serve as a role model for engineers and other engineering managers.
* Attract, develop, grow, and retain top talent.
* Oversee governance related to quality, security, andperformance objectives.
* Drive R&D grant and funding applications.
* Immerse yourself in the work and actively contribute to building the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Technology, or a relevant field.
* Experience in successfully building complex, high-performance systems delivered to customers.
* Agile certification to validate expertise in Agile methodologies.
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas and share knowledge effectively.
* Proven ability to build and maintain successful teams.
* Experience in implementingsoftware development best practices across the entire engineering lifecycle.
