At FRS Recruitment I am looking for a Senior Cloud SoftwareEngineer with the following requirements:
Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and maintain serverless applications, microservices, standalone applications, and tooling in various environments, ranging from clouds to HPC grids.
* Implement inter-cloud resource orchestration solutions.
* Integrate SaaS and Managed Cloud services with private clouds and grids.
* Develop and consume a range of APIs and CLIs.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive solutions.
* Embrace a hands-on approach and contribute to building the future of cloud software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor'sor higher degree in Software Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in building complex, high-performance systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
* Excellent hands-on development skills in multiple modernprogramming languages.
* Previous use of a microservices development framework.
* Strong analytical skills and understandingof advanced data structures and algorithms.
* Experience with object-oriented or alternative software design models.
* Background or interest in EDA/HPC (Electronic Design Automation/High-Performance Computing).
* Solid communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others.
* Familiarity with software development best practices for the full engineering lifecycle.
* Solid understanding of the containerized development stack.
* Deep understanding of at leastone Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform.
* Hands-on experience creating, testing, and consuming REST APIs.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Possesses a strong understanding of the architecture of large-scale software systems.
* Familiar with various serverless or microservices architecture styles and patterns and knows when and why to use them.
* Has experience working with both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
* Agile in attitude with a passion for delivering customer value quickly.
* Capable of forming, articulating, and supporting opinions and narratives based onresearch and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
* Flexible and adaptable to wearing different hats as the team grows.
* Brings a diverse technology background with a comprehensive understanding from the ground up.
* Problem-solving and troubleshooting attitude coupled with strong communication skills.
* Understands the security considerations and attack surface of software runningin the cloud.
