Senior DevOps Engineer | FinTech | Central London
Salary: Up to £80,000
Location: City of LondonIt's fantastic to see that even at times of such uncertainty companies are still looking to grow, I've had the pleasure ofgetting to know the team over the last couple of months and have seen them go strength to strength - they're now looking to further strengthen their cloud team and bring on board a Senior DevOps Engineer who is looking for a role that really encompasses both development and ops.
With the teams ethos being not to create a wall between development teams and ops teams and rather unify their output this role is ideal for an individual with vast experience working within AWS or GCP cloud development (they'relooking to become cloud agnostic), building and maintaining thorough CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application butalso revels in developing and monitoring scalable platforms.
The team;
The team themselves are a fast growth FinTec withan exceptional reputation on the market and developing a product that is packed by a number of teir1 financial institutions. They're very open to new and better technologies, have grown their techstack to include Go scripts, AWS, Java and Kubernetes but to mention a few and have the right attitude as to tried and tested isn't always the best way forward!
The role;
The rolewould see you acting as Senior DevOps engineer, enabling them to further their journey and continue to scale at speed. You wouldbe responsible for the platform and continued cloud first approach for the team. This means that you could come from a background of working on GCP or AWS or both.
