I am currently working with my client who is a leading technology solutions provider dedicated to helping customersbuild, manage, optimize and secure their IT infrastructure to help them recruit a Senior FPGA engineer where you will FPGA development for Control-Room, KVM and AV products.
Primarily Roles & Responsibilities
* Participate in feature requirements definition and architectural planning
* Work with Product Management to understand requirements
* FPGA Design and Validation of logic for Video, Audio, Encryption and Networking applications
* System Verification using simulation technologiesand on the product
* Work within other hardware and software groups to design, integrate and test products and
* Customer issue replication and resolution
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
* Proven experience in logic design using FPGAs (Xilinxor Altera preferred) using Verilog or VHDL
* Proven experience in working with Xilinx's Vivado/Vitis tool-suite or Altera's equivalent
* Experience in Linux/UNIX development environment including scripting and configuration
* Possess an understandingand an interest in networking concepts protocols, applications and interfaces
* Excellent analytical skills and an ability tocope with ambiguity and change
* Proven experience in the full product development cycle within a project based environment* Self-starter with excellent communication and documentation skills
Highly Desirable
* Experience with video, audio compression or networking
* Experience with System Verilog
* Detailed knowledge of FPGA technology
* Experience of largescale system simulation and integration of 3rd party IP
* Experience of negotiating and coordinating with FPGA and tool suppliers
* Some experience with C/C++ programming
Experience
* 6+ years of professional FPGA development
* Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
