SENIOR IT ENGINEER
MIRFIELD
UP TO £30,000 + HYBRID WORK FROM HOME
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients that are in the manufacturing sector with offices across Yorkshire and the North West. As part of their strategic growth plans, they are now looking to add an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join the existing team.
Within this position you will be the lead 3rd Line IT engineer for the IT team playing an integral part in the organisation providing technical support for hardware and cloud-based software. You will work closely with external providers dealing with escalated issues, alongside assisting with the design, development and deployment of solutions for the business.
This position requires a candidate with a wide interest in the full IT life cycle and eager to display theirexisting skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responding to 1st and 2nd line end user software and hardware incidents
* Work with the IT Service Manager to ensure any technical issues are addressed, and any training/documentation requirements are identified and implemented
* Support, administer and deliver IT solutions across the company working to ITIL standards
* Updatethe ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately
* Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team
* Liaise closely with business and 3rd party solution providers
* Support a large number of industry specificapplications
* Assist with implementing, configuring and testing feasible solutions
* Plan and work flexibly to deadlinesTHE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the Senior IT Engineer role will have the following skills and experience:* Windows Server 2008 - 2019
* Hyper-V
* Active Directory with GPO management
* Office 365 (SharePoint, Power Apps)
*Azure (Intune, Endpoint Manager)
* ITIL V3/ITIL V4 framework knowledge
