Senior Project Manager (IT/EPOS deployment)
Location: Reasonable commute to Derby (2/3 days per week)
Salary: Up to £65k per annum
Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a rapidly growing Technology Business based in Derby.
This customer primarily focuses on deploying IT/EPOS hardware within hospitality environments so the ideal candidate will have previous experience like this.Key Tasks / Duties
* Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment to close down
* Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
* Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence* Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilitiesfor the organization
* Ensure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
* Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
* Manage and ensure project scope is controlled and changes are driven through change control
* Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
* Ensure that assigned projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
* Manage project issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline projectplan
* Maintain and keep updated all project management systems and documentation
Required Experience:
* Extensiveexperience of:
* Leading hardware deployment projects (ideally within hospitality but others can be considered)
* Project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
* Working with business stakeholders internal and external within a cross-functional matrix environment
* The full product lifecycle, with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
* Experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership* Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
* Experience leading, motivating and managing various project team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
* Experience in successfully leading projects to complete on-time, on-schedule and within budget
