Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CloudSoftware Engineer to join our dynamic and talented engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions that ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other engineers, to deliver innovative software solutions that meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based software applications using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
* Collaborate with product managers and architects to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
* Develop scalable and fault-tolerant cloud architectures, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Implement cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud services.
* Collaborate with other engineers to define and implement APIs and microservices.
* Ensure the security and compliance of cloud applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
* Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our software development process.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Cloud Software Engineer, with a strong focus on designing and developing cloud-based applications.
* Extensive experience with cloud platformssuch as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Proficiency in one of the following programming languages - Java, Golang, Python, C# or C++. We have a Polyglot tech stack and use the best language for the job.
*Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
* Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
* Strong knowledge of cloud-native development principles, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced,agile environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
