Client:
Concept ITare looking for an experienced Service Desk Manager to overlook a busy SME MSP's Service desk based in central Milton Keynes. Myclient provides a busy service desk to customers all over the world and due to a sustained period of growth are looking to expand their IT team.
The role is a full-time permanent role, working around 40 hours a week.
Role:
* Manage a busy servicedesk of 1st and 2nd line service desk analysts
* Train and progress staff
* Make sure you are working to SLA's
* To report tothe head of managed service utilisation reports
* Use technologies such as Toolsuite and ServiceNow
* Take full ticket ownership
* Governance Risk and Compliance - Maintain SDI and ISO90001 accreditation
* Take ownership of recruitment into the 1st and 2nd line teams
* Nurture and promote 12 direct reports
Desired Requirements:
* Proven track record with customer service skills
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc
* Broad knowledge of Service Desk Technologies
* Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause
* Knowledge of Business-related applications
* Experience and ability to train and mentor colleagues and SDA team
* Good understanding of principles of ITIL Framework
