Get Recruited are supporting a forward thinking and dynamic organisation based in Brighton, who turn over in excessof £5million per annum. Due to continued growth and the recent acquisition of a large vendor, they are now looking for a Software Account Manager to join their highly successful and growing technical sales team.
Working with some of the largest companies in the world, you will be responsible for selling a dedicated platform to new and existing customers. As the Software AccountManager, you will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, before arranging video and face to face appointments where you will pitch the product.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative and continuously growing sector.The role would suit a motivated, dedicated Software Account Manager who is seeking the opportunity to progress their career within software / infrastructure / datacentre / SAAS / technical sales whilst enjoying excellent earning potential and career progression.
THE ROLE:
* The role of the Software Account Manager involves gathering intelligence and sourcing leads
* Cold calling in order to secure video and face to face meetings across the UK
* Running client meetings, pitching the product and leading online demonstrations
* Preparing quotes for the customer within an agreed timescale
* Negotiating contracts before closing the sale
* Manage a number of existing accounts in order to secure repeat business
* Constantly keeping up to date with the latest trends within the technology sector
* Working towards agreed revenue targets and KPI's
THE PERSON:
* At least 2 years experience within Software, SAAS, SAS, infrastructure, technical sales, IT services or IT sales is essential
* Proven experience within infrastructure, datacentre technology sales (servers, storage, backup, DR, networking)
* The ability toclearly explain complex digital solutions
* A creative approach to solving problems
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong work ethic, willing to put in the extra hours to enjoy results
