FullStack / FrontEnd Software Developer - 100% Remote / Work-From-Home
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
We are excited to be working with a leading Cloud and Communications Software Solutions company with multiple awards and ISO accreditations.
This role is one of four positions in their Applications Team and includes working with and onward development of the components that the team are responsible for. The Apps team is responsible for the creation, continued development, and maintenance of many core product user interfaces including the primary user interface component which is a Vue.jswebsite, using WebRTC with various WebAPIs backing it up. The developers in the Apps team have a range of skills from front ends to back ends and work together towards common project goals.
The successful candidates will be expected to contribute towards team decisions regarding development and direction of projects.
What You'll Do:
* Design and implementation of new features and capabilities in existing software, and of new software in line with the development plan.
* Maintenance of existing code.
* Delivery of high-quality code through code reviews, testing of own and other colleague's code, and automated testing.
* Ensuring compatibility of new and maintained code to the API.
* Working closely with other related departments, including the QA team, Support Team, Professional Services team, as well as with external suppliers.
* Creation and maintenance ofdocumentation including, but not limited to:
* Pre-installation requirements
* Installation
* Product configuration
*Troubleshooting and problem determination
* Ensuring effective handover of product to the QA team, Support Team, and Professional Services.
* Provide 3rd line support on the products.
* Actively contribute to Agile/SCRUM meetings.
What You'll Have:
* Good Vue.js or similar JavaScript framework (e.g. Angular) development skills (essential).
* Good communication skills to enable effective teamwork.
* Good C# development skills (desirable).
* Experience with WebAPIs (desirable).
*Microsoft SQL Server knowledge (desirable).
* Experience with windows services (beneficial).
* Knowledge of development technologies and methodologies.
* Knowledge of development processes.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, techniques and tools.
* Knowledge of Call Centre and Telecoms industry technologies (advantageous).
