Technical Director - West Yorkshire
Up to £110k + Benefits
A leading IT services business are seeking to recruit a new Technical Director; reporting directly to the board. This role combines the day to day duties of managing multiple highly talented technicalexperts with high level designs and pre sales. This is a great opportunity for anyone from an IT Services background with aspirations to progress to board level.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Act as the final point of technical escalation for the technical support and delivery teams.
* Mentoring and developing the members of the technical team.
* Ownership over cloud strategy.
* Be a key technical contact for clients, performing the technical account manager function for the most critical clients.
* Creating High Level designs for large enterprise customers covering both network and infrastructure elements.
* Involvement in the pre-sales and design process for key customer solutions.
* Project delivery; when applicable.
Technical requirements:
* Strong technical capability and experience in IT infrastructure, networking and cloud solutions.
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills, ability to quickly identify and solve IT problems.
* Ability to quickly pick up new technology solutions and concepts quickly, and lead the introduction of new services into the business.
* Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and lead a diverse team of engineers.
* Strong analytical skills, capable of assisting with pricing models and capacity planning.
* Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of the customer's commercial as well as technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
* CCIE/CCNP
