Estimation & Design Consultant - Milton Keynes (Hybrid) - £38,000-£44,000
Due to continued success and growth our client who support a portfolio of clients throughout the UK and overseas have an exciting opportunity for an estimator tojoin their busy presales team. The company offers solutions and services that support the Critical Network Infrastructure of Public & Private Sector clients.
Reporting into the Head of Presales and working closely with the Managed Service, Operations and Sales teams main duties of the role will be;
* Assist in the support of both existing contracted customers and new competitive tenders the corporate and service provider sector
* Estimation responsibility for allocated bid requests including solution vendor choice, creation of detailed summary tables and bill of materials
* Bid Creation - Generation of survey and quotation documents, updating CRM, interfacing with Operations for labour costing, liaising with suppliers for materials pricing and the provision of high and detailed level cost summaries
* Attend design meetings and site surveys as/when required
Whatwe are looking for;
* Experience in Data Centre and Office structured cabling systems, Wi-fi solutions, equipment roll-outs, containment, cabinets, PDU strips and associated infrastructure
* Strong Technical and installation knowledge of leading structured cabling system (SCS) vendors solutions especially fibre
* CRM experience
* Cabling Vendor or Industry Certification* Full UK Driving Licence
